  6. Thanks a lot for porting this timeless gem to symbian!

But I have a (little?) problem with it. It works pretty well on my 600 Mhz Nokia E5, but when I try to save the game, it either hangs the phone, or hangs for a while and then crashes. I have the latest 1.7.5 PIPS, non-jailbroken phone and the rest of the stuff works without a hitch. What could be the source of the problem?

    Thanks in advance.

  7. Hi!
Try create a SAVE folder here
    !:\fHeroes2\Files\save
    Perhaps it will help.

  8. Thank you for reply, but just recently I discovered that it DOES save the game, it's just taking a minute or two, so long that it seemed like a hanging phone :) Turns out everything works and I can play Heroes2, thanks again :)

  9. Thank you!
It's a great game. Unfortunately I have some problems with it. :(
I can't install pips on nokia n8, because of some kind of error. I tried different versions, but it's always the same. Seprisingly gome still works without installing it.
But there are problems with screen orientation.
Wha i play it in "landscapemode" it looks as if it was i portrait, but upsidedown! :O

Can you, please do something about it?!

  11. At last a working Heroes of Might and Magic for my good old E61i... grabbed the low memory version, works slow but still works ! Scrolling the map and managing combats come to be pretty nasty at times, but I doubt we can get anything better... we already got lots here !
However what I think should be urgently fixed/added is 1. The save game writing process that takes ages to complete when it doesn't simply crash the game (had to disable autosave in the options)
    2. The addition of the "hot seat" mode which is highly missing and that I think is pretty easy to implement.

Keep up the good work !

  12. Hotseat is there, once in game choose to restart a new game and select multiplayer.

  18. Heroes Of Might And Magic 5 Game Ever since I've been gaming I've been known to devote myself to games that I love. I go to bed wishing I could play longer, have vivid dreams as though I'm still playing and spend days in a row playing for as long as possible. This cycle appears endless as, in being asked to put together a list of my favourite games, it continued to appear and reappear the further my list grew, so much so that it has almost become the common denominator. Upon considering this pattern along with recent experiences, I've come to consider myself a 'Gaming Monogamist'.
