This is a very nearly complete clone of one of my favorite classic DOS games, Commander Keen: Invasion of the Vorticons by ID. The game is written in pure C, uses SDL, and is generally very easy to compile on most platforms.

Stratagus (Wargus): Warcraft 2 2.10(5)

Wargus is a Warcraft2 Mod that allows you to play Warcraft2 with the Stratagus engine, as opposed to play it with the original Warcraft2 one. So unless you have a legal copy of Warcraft2 (original DOS Version required, won't work with the battle.net edition) Wargus will be pretty useless to you, since it doesn't come with any graphics or sounds itself.
So why play Warcraft2 with the Stratagus engine instead of the original Warcraft2 one ? There are numerous reasons, first it allows you to play Warcraft2 under GNU/Linux and other operating systems not supported by the original Warcraft2 engine, secondly it allows you to play over the internet, which the original Warcraft2 engine didn't allow you to. Last not least the Stratagus engine allows you to tweak numerous parameters so you can play around with different unit strength and such.
Since Wargus uses a different engine, not all things will work 100% the same as they did in the original Warcraft2, if you want the original unchanged Warcraft2 experience, you will still have to use the original Warcraft2.

PicoDrive is a fast SEGA Mega Drive emulator. It was originally developed for mobile devices and was ported to RISC OS by Adrian Lees and Jeffrey Lee

PicoDrive was originally developed for mobile devices such as PDAs and mobile phones. With a fast 68000 emulator, written entirely in ARM assembly at its core, PicoDrive was the first emulator to run Mega Drive games at full speed on RISC OS.

ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the games, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed!

Liero 1.34(2)

Liero is a very addicting game similar to Worms. This is a two-player game, but you can play against the computer. You are a worm that is trying to kill all the others. Build tunnels to get to the others. It has many different weapons and is a game you can get hooked on very easily. It also comes with a level editor so you can make your own levels.

OpenJazz 0.02(5)

OpenJazz is a free, open-source version of the classic Jazz Jackrabbit™ games. OpenJazz can be compiled on a wide range of operating systems, including Windows 98/Me/XP and Linux. To play, you will need the files from one of the original games.

With the demise of DOS-based operating systems, it has become necessary to use emulators to play old DOS games. Jazz Jackrabbit™ deserves more - and would benefit greatly from new features.

OpenJazz was started on the 23rd of August, 2005, by Alister Thomson. Academic pressures put the project on hold until late December 2005. The source code was released on the 25th, and the first version with a degree of playability was released on the 15th of January. Since then, a variety of ports have been released by other people.

More academic pressures meant there were few updates over the following few years, but in 2009 a multiplayer version was released.

The Clue 2.60(0)

The Clue! (known as Der Clou! in Austria) is a remake of the 1986 game They Stole a Million.
It would form a two game series, with a sequel following in 2001,
under the guise of The Sting! or Der Clou 2!.
A unique adventure game, assuming the identity of Matt Stuvysant, a burglar who is looking beyond just the clothes on his back and a hotel room on Holland Street, the player is tasked with finding accomplices, scouting potential targets, and plotting plans of burglary, down to the finest detail. Featuring the archetypal point-and-click interface during investigations, engaging in planning a job would alter the controls to include keyboard, using it to control the planned movements of the personnel.
